Project ODG (WIP) - Week 01 : First features

Inspired by Subvert Games and the pleasure that gives me see the making off of something, I have started a project with Unity3D and I will show progress each week as they have done with their game Blackreef Pirates.

I have been working a week on the project, and the truth is that it moves quite well, for this week have implemented the following functionality:
  • Character and camera control
  • Map loading and terrain mesh generation
  • Terrain texturing
  • Object loading

Some of these need to be polished, but I prefer to go ahead and have a playable project.

I leave you with the video of this first week:

Obviously, all the videos shown are only a WIP version of the game.
Bye ;)

My adventure with Flash and Actionscript

Long time without news uh?, it is normal, between university, work and personal projects this has been a little lonely. Today I come with old and new stories, I will post the new storie in another entry but I want to dedicate this entry to my development adventure in Flash and Actionscript.

I spent a few months developing and selling flash games getting out two titles; Bubbles Pops and Cocomono both available in the GAMES section of this website long time ago.
I can say that this is a business and you can get some benefits developing flash games and selling them directly to the sponsors or through FGL portal but you should be very careful with what are you developing having intuition about what the sponsors are looking for.
I have published the games under the name Alienline Softworks, this going to be the company name that I going to use to publish all my semi/professional projects.

Here are videos of both games:

Bubbles Pop

Cocomono

I hope you like it
